The FIFTH annual KIRKLAND ARTIST STUDIO TOUR (KAST) is a FREE. SELF-
GUIDED tour for art lovers of all ages. Every Mother's Day Weekend,
award-winning artists open their studios to the public. It's a rare
opportunity to peek into the lives and works of over FIFTY-SEVEN artists.
You might be surprised by what treasures you'll find in their studios but
you won't be surprised by their creativity!
On the tour visitors can see artists in action working on paintings,
ceramics, textiles, jewelry, glass. All kinds of original art will be on
display and for sale...
oils, watercolors, pastels, silk, acrylics, world-class photography, mosaics
and more. Buy something to fit over the sofa...or better yet throw out the
sofa and design the room around your wonderful new piece of art! Commission
a portrait. Sign up for a class. Get inspired! Let your local artists know
how much you appreciate them!
It happens only once a year so grab the family or a friend. Grab a MAP and
come see how artists work, live and create in one of the best little
waterfront arts community. Only 15 minutes from Seattle.
TOUR MAPS will be available at PARKLANE GALLERY, KIRKLAND ARTS CENTER and KIRKLAND LIBRARY. Colorful street signs will guide you to art studios tucked along the waterfront or nestled in the trees.
Thank-you and Enjoy!
