Vineeta Agarwal was born and raised in Mumbai, India, where she studied under Master Potter and Sculptor, Mr. Bhandari at Raheja Technical Institute since 1996. She taught ceramics to college students at Kamla Raheja Vidhya Nidhi Institute of Architecture and Environmental Studies, Mumbai for 3 years. As a visiting faculty there she introduced students to clay as a medium of expression in their architectural pursuits. She also taught ceramics at Cathedral High School, Mumbai. In 2003 she moved to Redmond, and pursued a second degree in Finance. Since 2007, she has experimented with different low-fire techniques. This includes Raku, Saggar firing, and combining organic and various chemicals on bottle forms.
