Alix completed her bachelor's degree in Applied Art and Design at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo in 1980. Over the next five years Alix held design positions from Monterey to San Francisco. In 1985 she embarked on a 17-year career in high technology. Retiring from Nintendo gaming during 2002. She commits all her time to personal pursuits including watercolor, community activities and boating in the Pacific Northwest.
