Barbara Hennig can’t remember a time when art wasn’t an important part of her life. She studied it and created it for many years in several different mediums, most recently concentrating on painting and ceramics. Barbara enjoys the process whether layering oil paint onto a two dimensional canvas or working out ideas in three dimensions while sculpting in clay. When creating her work, Barbara is influenced by many sources, but her inspiration always comes from the nature that surrounds her. Movement and organic shapes prevail in her paintings and sculptures. Barbara loves a narrative, and therefore titles most of her art so the viewer may create an ending to the story she began.
