Even as a young girl, Lynn had a passion for clothing, textiles and fashion. That’s why attending both the Fashion Institute of Technology, located in NYC and Buffalo State College was a natural path to take. Lynn earned an A.A.S. degree in Textile Technology and a B.S. in Apparel and Textiles, specializing in patternmaking. Her education is the foundation to a successful career in the garment and toy industry for over 20 years.

Lynn currently designs, weaves, knits and even dyes yarn at her home studio located in the Highlands of Kirkland, WA. The latest styles are designed with the aid of fashion and color trend reports.

Juried artist shows have been a successful venue for Lynn to sell her wares. Which include: Handwoven wraps, scarves and capelets, felted hand knit handbags adorned with unique needle felted motifs and felted bowls. All garments and accessories are matchlessly designed, thus individually unique. Perfectly matched vintage buttons harmonize each item as closures or simply for adornment.

Handling soft cuddly yarn is my favorite part of the design process. Currently my favorite yarns to weave with are bamboo and Tencel.

This is Lynn’s third year participating in the Kirkland Artist Studio Tour.
