Elizabeth was born in Wisconsin, where her artistic sensibilities were fostered by the long winters, which
require people to entertain themselves through the consumption of alcohol or the creation of art, or both. She flew the coop for warmer climes after
college, spending 7 years in a place called 'San Diego' where she developed a love of ceramics that
rivaled her hatred of sand and everydayallday sunshine. The pendulum swung again and landed her in Antarctica in 2001, where an eclectic mix of adventurers entertain themselves through the copious
consumption of alcohol, or the production of art, or both.

And now she is here in Seattle, a place so beautiful, with a climate so mild, that everyone seems a tad more
sober and the rain inspires art even in the summertime.

Elizabeth's jewelry is created in a style best described a 'Flirtatious Feminist Girly-girl'. She uses vintage glass, precious metal clay and sterling,
and the final product is dramatic, moveable, touchable, delightful jewelry that gets lots of attention and feels as if was made just for...You.

She believes that women re-create themselves on a daily basis, beginning with their choice of adornment. She began selling her wares when it was clear that she was making far too much jewelry to wear herself, and all of her spaces became cluttered with the little imaginary animals she was creating at a breakneck pace.

Her wares have been sold on several continents, but her love of sushi and pho may keep her here for some
time. Elizabeth Jewels can be worn while operating heavy equipment or enjoying the symphony, and she
believes if you're living a good life, ideally you'll get to do both on the same day.
