Working and manipulating clay, on and off the wheel is where I begin my pieces. The direct feel of the clay and it responsiveness to my efforts provide the framework for each piece. My work ranges from functional tableware to abstract non-functional pieces. Decorating the surface, I work with a broad color range. I enjoy the combination of a simple repeated design with layering glazes.
