Photographer Ellen Williams’ work reflects her passion for capturing light and intense color to enlighten the art of the moment. Her heart and residence have belonged to the Pacific Northwest since 1970. She is especially drawn to quaint rural settings, the grandeur of our mountains and forests, the allure of islands and beaches we enjoy here in the Northwest, as well as on the Hawaiian Island of Maui. Many of her images focus on ethereal floral beauty and artistic composition within everyday moments: Her macro lens floral images provide passage into a different world by transcending visual perceptions beyond our ordinary realm.
