The Kirkland Artist Studio ToUR is back for its FIFTH year. The event takes place MOTHERS' DAY WEEKEND, May 10th-11th, from 10 am until 6 pm. This FREE, SELF-GUIDED tour is a rare opportunity to peek into the studios and creative minds of over FIFTY talented, award-winning artists who live and work in one of the best art towns in America. This only happens once a year...so don't miss it!
KAST is now a nationally recognized art tour featured in ARTIST MAGAZINE (NOV 2007) and in the MAY/JUNE 2008 issue of “425” Magazine.

Kirkland Artists Open Studios MAY 10th-11th Mother's Day Weekend!
Kirkland, Wash. - The FIFTH annual Kirkland Artist Studio Tour (KAST) takes place Mother's Day weekend, Saturday and Sunday, May 10th/11th, 10am to 6pm each day.
KAST is a FREE, JURIED, self-guided tour for art lovers of all ages!
Over MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND, Kirkland artists open up their studios to the public. It's a rare opportunity to get a peek into the lives and works of over fifty talented, award-winning artists. You might be surprised what you'll find in the studios, but you won't be surprised by their creativity! The tour only happens once a year, so grab mom and the kids and come see how artists work, live, and create in one of America's best little art communities!
On the tour, visitors can see artists-in-action working on paintings, ceramics, glass beads, and live demonstrations. Watercolors, oil and pastel paintings, world-class photography, mosaics, ceramics, textiles, silk painting, jewelry, fused glass and more will be on display and for sale.
Tour maps will be available at Parklane Gallery, Kirkland Library and the Kirkland Arts Center. Colorful street banners and signs will guide visitors to the studios tucked along the waterfront or nestled in the trees! Some artists have interesting custom built studios and gardens to enjoy along the way!
